DeWalt work boots carry the same toughness as the power tools, from one of the most recognised names on any building site. Most DeWalt boots use a steel toe cap, and many pair it with a steel or composite midsole for protection underfoot. Around a third of the DeWalt range carries a waterproof, breathable membrane lining, built for groundwork, construction and anyone working through the British weather. The Titanium, Challenger 3, Newark, Murray, Milburn, Mentor, Douglas, Millington and Kirksville are all membrane-lined; the others use water-resistant leather without a membrane. A small number of DeWalt boots, including the Lander BOA and the Millington, use a non-metallic composite toe cap and composite midsole in place of steel. That makes the boot lighter on the foot, lets it pass cleanly through metal detectors and reduces cold transfer in winter, while a composite toe cap is built to the same 200 joule impact requirement as a steel one.
DeWalt boots are made for daily wear on hard ground, with hard-wearing uppers, slip-resistant outsoles and reinforced toe and heel areas. Selected styles use the BOA Fit System, a micro-adjustable dial that replaces laces for a quick, even and secure fit you can fine-tune with gloves on.
