These terms and conditions govern your use of the Safety-Shoes.co.uk website (safety-shoes.co.uk) and any purchases made through it. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Safety-Shoes.co.uk is a trading name of Abacus Repro Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04971774, with its registered office at St Marys House, Netherhampton, Salisbury, SP2 8PU, and its trading address at Unit 27 Rockhaven Business Centre, Longhedge, Salisbury, SP4 6RT.
All prices shown on the website are in GBP and include VAT at the applicable rate (where we are VAT registered). We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will inform you and give you the option to continue with the order at the correct price or cancel it.
Boots are priced without VAT for your own work use. If you are buying for a company or for staff, 20% VAT is added at checkout.
Product images are for illustration purposes. While we strive for accuracy, slight variations in colour may occur due to screen settings and photography.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. See our Payment page.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Please refer to our Delivery Information page for full details on delivery timescales and costs. We are an independent retailer and source genuine stock directly from the brands or through their authorised UK distributors. Every product is genuine. If anything goes wrong, you deal with us, not the brand: we handle every fault and warranty claim and take it up with the manufacturer or supplier for you. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to everything we sell.
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Where an item is held in our own stock, orders placed before 1pm on a working day are dispatched the same working day; orders placed after 1pm, at weekends or on a public holiday are dispatched the next working day. Estimated timescales for other items are shown on each product page.
All delivery dates and timescales quoted on the website, in your order confirmation or in any other communication are estimates only and not guaranteed. Time of delivery is not of the essence of the contract. We will use reasonable endeavours to meet the quoted timescales and will keep you informed of any material delay.
We ask that you inspect your order on arrival. If anything is missing, damaged in transit or appears to be the wrong item, please contact us as soon as you can and in any event within a reasonable time. Prompt notification helps us resolve issues quickly. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, and a further 14 days to return them. If you cancel, we refund the price and the original standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof that you have sent them, if sooner). We may reduce the refund for any loss in value caused by handling the goods more than is needed to check them. You pay the cost of returning goods you have changed your mind about. We extend the return window to 30 days from delivery as described in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods, which are not affected by these terms.
Items made or personalised to your own specification are not covered by the additional 30-day goodwill returns window described in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Extended-range styles, including those shown with a longer lead time, are covered by it in full. Your statutory rights in respect of faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods are unaffected.
Safety footwear sold on this website is certified to the EN ISO standard stated on its product page (typically EN ISO 20345 for safety footwear and EN ISO 20347 for occupational footwear). It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the product selected is appropriate for their intended use and workplace risk assessment.
We will not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes (without limitation) acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, epidemic or pandemic, war or civil unrest, industrial action, failure of public or private telecommunications or transport networks, the acts or omissions of carriers or third-party suppliers, supplier insolvency, or interruptions to manufacturing or supply chains.
If such an event occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to let you know and our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event. Where the event materially affects your order, you may cancel any unfulfilled part of the order for a full refund. This clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
To the extent permitted by law, Abacus Repro Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product(s) in question. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, nor limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Abacus Repro Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Product images remain the property of their respective manufacturers. Product images and specifications are supplied by the manufacturers and distributors to identify the products.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
