Returns Policy

Our commitment to your satisfaction

Fill in the form below. We will email you a returns authorisation with the address to send the items and a reference number to write on the package. No printer required.

We aim to reply within one working day. Faulty or wrong-item returns are postage-paid.

30-Day Returns

Not happy with your purchase? You can return unworn items within 30 days for a full refund or exchange.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason. We extend this to 30 days as part of our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Pre-Order & Specially-Sourced Items

Pre-order, made-to-order, personalised or specially-sourced items (including products marked as "Pre-Order" or "Next Delivery", and items ordered to your specific requirements) are subject to your 14-day statutory cancellation right only. Our additional 30-day goodwill returns window does not apply to these items. Your statutory rights for faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods are unaffected.

Check Your Order on Arrival

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is missing, damaged in transit or appears to be the wrong item, please contact us promptly, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, so we can resolve the issue quickly. Where possible, please keep the original packaging and take a photograph of any damage. This is a request, not a deadline: it does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

What Can Be Returned

Unworn items in their original packaging with all tags attached

Items tried on indoors on a clean surface (as you would in a shop)

Wrong size or colour received, we'll cover return postage

Faulty or damaged items, we'll cover return postage

What Cannot Be Returned

Items that have been worn outdoors or show signs of use

Items without their original packaging or tags

Insoles, socks, and hygiene-sensitive accessories (unless faulty)

How to Return

Submit a return request

Fill in the return form at the top of this page with your order number, the items you are sending back, and the reason. We will email you within one working day with your returns authorisation and the address to send the items to. If you would rather email us directly, write to returns@safety-shoes.co.uk.

Pack & Post

Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Send it using a tracked delivery service. We recommend keeping your proof of postage.

Refund or Exchange

Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll process your refund or exchange within 5 working days.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to appear on your statement after we've processed the return. Original delivery charges are refunded only if the return is due to our error or a faulty product.

Faulty Products

If you receive a faulty product, please contact us immediately. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of purchase for faulty goods. Beyond 30 days, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement. We will cover return postage costs for faulty items.
