Our story

Safety-Shoes.co.uk is operated by Abacus Repro Limited, a UK trade supplier that has been in business since 2003.

For our first 17 years we specialised in B2B supply of office stationery, janitorial, packaging and office furniture, working with UK businesses who wanted a single supplier they could pick up the phone to, rather than a faceless catalogue with a call centre on the other end of it.

In 2020 we extended into branded workwear and uniform under the trading name Workwear Innovation. Over the last six years we have built direct relationships with the UK distributors of most of the major safety and workwear brands, and learnt what our trade customers really care about: the right product, in the right size, at the right price, on the day they actually need it.

In 2026 we launched Safety-Shoes.co.uk to make the same standard of service available to anyone buying safety footwear, whether that is one pair for yourself or thirty pairs for a site team. The same brand relationships, the same depth of range, the same fair pricing, with someone real on the other end of every order.

We are still a small team, and we still answer the phone ourselves.

What we sell

Every safety boot, trainer or shoe on this site is certified to EN ISO 20345 (safety) or EN ISO 20347 (occupational) unless explicitly described otherwise. The relevant standard and protective features are listed on every product page so you can match the boot to your role and the hazards you face.

Our range covers safety boots, safety trainers, safety shoes, rigger boots, wellingtons, waterproof footwear and occupational footwear, in men's and women's fits, suited to construction, logistics, light industry, utilities, forestry and groundwork.

The brands we work with

We sell safety footwear from brands including Caterpillar, Timberland Pro, DeWalt, Apache, Magnum, Skechers Work, Amblers Safety, Hunter, Portwest, Regatta Professional, Bobcat and Sterling Safetywear, with more added regularly. Every product is sourced through the brand's official UK distribution channel, so it is genuine, current-season stock supplied with the manufacturer's standard warranty.
