It is a closed-cell polyurethane that is far lighter and warmer than traditional PVC or rubber, so a full-safety welly feels comfortable across a long shift rather than heavy and cold. The range runs from general-purpose Purofort to the heavier-duty Acifort and Devon lines, with full-safety options carrying a toecap and midsole.

Match the rating to the job. An S5 wellington is fully waterproof with a protective toecap and a penetration-resistant midsole, which suits most agricultural and washdown work, while S4 covers the same waterproof protection without the midsole. The boots and trainers in the range follow the usual scale, where S1P adds a penetration-resistant midsole and an antistatic build and S3 adds water resistance and a cleated outsole.
