Mascot Safety Boots and Safety Shoes

Questions people ask

Are Mascot safety boots any good?

Mascot builds its safety footwear to the same standard as its workwear. The range runs from S1P to S7S, most styles are metal free with a composite toe cap and textile nail protection, and the product page lists each pair's class, markings, toe cap and upper from Mascot's own specification.

What is the BOA Fit System on Mascot boots?

BOA is a dial and lace system. Turning the dial tightens the shoe evenly across the foot, and pulling it releases it. Mascot uses it across the Customized, Accelerate, Industry, Carbon and Electrosafe ranges. Styles with a BOA dial have BOA in their name.

Do Mascot safety shoes come in women's sizes?

Many do. Mascot makes the smaller sizes of these styles on a women's last, which is narrower than the men's. On our pages they are shown as Ladies sizes, for example 38 Ladies (UK 5), alongside the men's sizes.

Which Mascot boots are best for wet conditions?

The S7S styles. Under EN ISO 20345:2022 the S7 classes add water resistance for the whole boot (WR), and Mascot has S7S styles in the Industry, Flex, Customized and Accelerate ranges. S3 and S3S styles have a water-resistant upper, which suits damp rather than wet ground. Each product page states the class.

Are Mascot boots metal free?

Most are. The majority use a composite toe cap, some an aluminium or carbon toe cap, combined with non-metal textile nail protection. A small number use a steel toe cap. The toe cap is listed on every product page.

How long does Mascot footwear take to arrive?

Mascot styles are ordered in for you, so allow 5 to 7 working days. The delivery estimate is shown on each product page before you order.
