EN ISO 20345 Certified Safety Footwear
A safety trainer in a small men's size is not the same thing as a trainer built for a woman's foot. Everything on this page is cut on a women's last, with a narrower heel, a lower instep and a toe box shaped to suit, which is what stops the heel slipping and the toes bruising over a full shift. The range covers lightweight S1P trainers for warehouse, logistics and food work through to waterproof S3 styles for outdoor and site work.
Narrower through the heel and instep, not a downsized men's fit. 22 women's styles available.
S1P adds a penetration-resistant midsole and antistatic build. S3 adds water resistance and a cleated outsole.
Composite and aluminium toecaps, knitted and mesh uppers, built for long shifts on hard floors.
UK and EU sizing shown on every style, so you can pick your size before you order.

The brands that take women's fit seriously are the ones worth starting with. Amblers Safety runs the deepest women's block here, with the 609 Fleur, 610 Ivy and 612 Fern slip-ons and the FS706 Sophie and FS47 lightweight trainers. Safety Jogger builds the Bestknit S1P and Organic S1P Low as women's specific models rather than adapted men's ones. Bobcat cuts the Akron, Rockford and Clinch on a women's last, Titan does the same with the metal-free Neon, and Makita brings the Kobe. Our safety trainers collection covers the wider trainer range if you want to compare.
The rating tells you what the shoe is built to do. SB is the base level with a 200 joule toecap. S1 adds an antistatic build, a closed heel and fuel-resistant outsole. S1P adds a penetration-resistant midsole, which is the sensible minimum for most warehouse and light industrial work. S3 adds water resistance and a cleated outsole for outdoor and site work. Most styles here carry EN ISO 20345 ratings, stated per style, with a small number of lighter protective court and slip-on styles rated to EN ISO 20346 instead, which carries a 100 joule toecap rather than 200. The rating is listed on every product page.
Fit is where most women's safety footwear goes wrong, so it is worth ten minutes up front. Measure late in the day when your feet have spread, measure both feet and work from the larger one, and allow a thumb's width at the toe. If you wear a thicker work sock, size with that sock on. Our size and fit guide has the measuring instructions and a printable gauge, and if a style runs narrow or generous we say so on the product page. For boots, wellingtons and the rest of the women's range, see our women's safety footwear page.
