Each safety style states its EN ISO rating
The Titan Thunder is a lightweight knitted safety trainer built for long shifts on hard floors, and it comes in two versions. The Thunder is the entry model: a steel toe cap and a penetration-resistant insert under a high-tensile knitted upper, certified SBP. The Thunder Plus keeps the same trainer feel but goes fully metal-free, adds ESD static control and a water-resistant knit, and is certified S1PS. Both are black, both run UK 3 to 13, and both are easy to buy for a whole team.
Steel toe cap and penetration-resistant insert under a high-tensile knitted upper, with an energy-absorbing heel. Certified EN ISO 20345:2022 SBP.
Non-metallic toe cap and midsole, ESD static control, SR slip resistance and a water-resistant knitted upper. Certified EN ISO 20345:2022 S1PS SR FO ESD.
A breathable knitted upper on a cushioned sole, so the Thunder wears like a trainer rather than a boot. UK sizes 3 to 13, 2 styles in stock now.
Free UK delivery on orders over £75, which makes kitting out a team straightforward.
Thunder or Thunder Plus comes down to what your site needs from the rating. The Thunder is certified SBP under EN ISO 20345:2022: the 200 joule toe cap protection every safety shoe must have, plus the P mark for a penetration-resistant insert underfoot, which on the 2022 standard means a metal insert. That makes it a sound choice for warehouses, stockrooms, delivery work and light industrial jobs where the floor is dry and nobody is asking for antistatic. The Thunder Plus steps up to S1PS. S1 adds a closed heel, antistatic properties and heel energy absorption to the basic requirements, and the PS mark means a non-metallic insert tested against the finer 3 mm nail. It also carries SR slip resistance, FO fuel oil resistance and ESD, the static control you need around electronics, and it is fully metal-free, so it goes through a site scanner without setting it off.
Neither is a waterproof shoe. The Thunder Plus has a water-resistant knitted upper that shrugs off a splash, but for wet ground you want an S3 or S7 boot, such as the Titan Storm, Titan's waterproof side-zip boot.
