EN ISO 20345 Certified Safety Footwear
Magnum earned its reputation on the beat before it reached the building site. The brand grew out of a lighter, more athletic style of duty boot developed for police work, and it is now worn by police, ambulance, security and emergency services teams around the world. That uniform heritage shapes every pair: builds light enough for a twelve hour shift, quick side-zip entry on selected styles, and protection that is almost entirely metal-free. We list {inStock} Magnum styles ready to order.
Every Magnum style we list is independently certified to EN ISO 20345 with a 200 joule protective toecap. Much of the range is rated S3, which combines toe protection with a penetration-resistant midsole, antistatic properties and a water-resistant upper, so one boot covers most site and outdoor duties. Selected styles add certified metatarsal protection over the top of the foot for higher-impact environments.
Magnum builds almost the entire range around composite toecaps and non-metallic midsole protection rather than steel. That keeps the weight down across a long shift, avoids the cold spot that metal components create in winter, and makes the boots practical where security screening is part of the job. Lighter boots mean less fatigue at the end of the day, which is exactly what the brand's uniform background demands.
A large part of the range carries a waterproof membrane, keeping feet dry through night shifts, outdoor patrols and wet site work while staying breathable enough for indoor duties. Paired with an S3 rating these styles protect underfoot as well as overhead, suiting groundwork, utilities, logistics yards and any role that moves between indoors and out in all weathers.
Details carried over from duty boots run through the range: side-zip entry on selected styles for fast on and off, cushioned midsoles designed for people who are on their feet all day, and slip-resistant outsoles proven on hard urban ground. There is also a vegan-friendly build for wearers who want certified protection without leather.

Magnum traces its roots to the early 1980s, when a lighter, more athletic duty boot was developed for police training academies in the United States. It was adopted so widely across police, ambulance, fire and security services that Magnum grew into a dedicated uniform and safety footwear brand in its own right. Today the range applies that same thinking to industrial safety footwear: keep the weight down, keep the wearer comfortable for a full shift, and build in protection without bulk.
When choosing within the range, start with the rating you need. S3 styles give a 200 joule toecap, a penetration-resistant midsole, antistatic protection and a water-resistant upper, which covers most outdoor and site roles, while lower-cut shoes suit indoor and lighter duties. Because nearly every Magnum style is metal-free, the brand also features in our metal-free safety footwear collection, and our size and fit guide explains how Magnum sizing compares to other brands so you order correctly first time. Many work boots also qualify for VAT relief when bought by an individual for work use, applied automatically where eligible.
