Two families run through the range. Red Carpet is the lighter, more trainer-shaped end, built on an E-TPU foam intersole that gives the springy underfoot feel the name is a nod to. The Carbon, Zak, Thomas Low, Matt Lightweight and Nero sit here, along with the Mustang Low shoe. RedLion is the harder-wearing work end, with the Stego Redlion, Trader Pro, Grant, Caleb, Lift, Scuro and Thanos, plus the Helsinki, which adds a scuff cap and ladder grip for anyone spending time on rungs.
Three pieces of construction turn up again and again and they are worth understanding. The AirToe aluminium toecap gives the same 200 joule protection as steel at lower weight, which you notice by the end of a shift. Save & Flex PLUS is a textile anti-perforation midsole, so it flexes with the foot and covers the full width of the sole rather than leaving the edges unprotected the way a steel plate can. And the WOW self-modelling insole beds in to the shape of your foot over the first few wears. If you want the wider picture on ratings, our safety boot ratings guide explains what each code means.
Choosing between them mostly comes down to where you work. For warehouse, logistics and workshop floors the Red Carpet trainers are the comfortable pick, and several carry ESD for static-sensitive work. For outdoor, groundwork and cold stores the boots are the answer, and the Kora goes furthest with heat insulation and a heat-resistant outsole marked HI and HRO. The Dude GTX is the one to look at if water is the main problem. Sizes are shown on every product page, and our size and fit guide will get you to the right one.
