Dakota pairs the convenience features people actually use, an ankle zip and speed-friendly hiker lacing, with the protection spec of a serious site boot: S3S under the 2022 standard, so a 200 joule toecap, penetration resistance and a water-repellent upper, plus the LG ladder-grip sole test. The Bobcat-inspired tread pattern is designed for stability and grip on mixed ground.
