About Wright safety footwear

Wright is a modern safety footwear range built from the ground up to the current EN ISO 20345:2022 standard, rather than the older 2011 spec a lot of footwear still runs on. Every style uses a non-metallic composite toecap and midsole, so the boots are lighter than steel, warmer in winter, and pass cleanly through a metal detector, a real advantage in food, logistics and security environments. The line-up covers rugged boots, slip-on Chelsea styles and performance trainers, so there is a Wright for site, warehouse and everything in between.

The flagship Sierra, Apex and Atomic styles carry the S7S rating, one of the strongest all-round specs available: a whole-boot waterproof build tested for immersion, a non-metallic penetration-resistant midsole, and a slip-resistant, heat-resistant outsole. Others, like the Voyager, Onyx and Hiker Edge, are rated S3S with the same composite protection and water-resistant uppers. Standout engineering runs through the range, from the Poron metatarsal guard on the Hammer Metaguard to the precision dial-lace system on the Apex. To avoid steel entirely, the whole range sits in our metal-free safety boots collection, and our waterproof safety boots collection covers every waterproof style we stock.

Because Wright is a pre-order range, you reserve your size now and we dispatch as soon as the first stock arrives in August. Qualifying Wright boots are eligible for VAT relief when bought by an individual for work use, which we apply automatically, so a qualifying boot costs 20% less than the same boot sold with VAT. Our VAT-free safety boots guide explains how that works, and our size and fit guide helps you order the right size first time.
